My Story
Hi, Iโm Hannah, the founder of Valkyrah.
For most of my life, I struggled with body image. No matter how my body changed, I rarely felt confident in it. I was used to hiding, and without realizing it, that fear shaped the way I dressed.
That began to change when I attended my first EDM festival in 2021. I was immediately drawn to the outfits: bold, expressive, and unlike anything people wore in everyday life. At first, I couldnโt imagine having the confidence to wear them myself. Eventually, I decided to try.
Walking into that festival in my first rave outfit felt like stepping into another version of myself. The outfit didnโt magically erase every insecurity, but it gave me a way to practice being seen. It became more than clothing - it felt like armor. The confidence I found while wearing it began to follow me into other parts of my life.
Valkyrah grew from that transformation and my lifelong love of fantasy. I wanted to create fantasy-inspired ravewear that helps people feel like the most powerful version of themselves - like the characters I admired in video games, shows, and books.
